Around the legendary pass between Italy and Switzerland

The Tour du Grand-Saint-Bernard is a fascinating and “wild” trek through the Alps that sits between the famous Tour du Mont Blanc and Tour des Combins.

Between Mont Blanc and the Grand Combin, the mighty massif of the Vallesian Alps, the Great St. Bernard area owes its name to the millenary hospice, its legendary pass and its mythical dogs.

The itinerary, between Switzerland and Italy, crosses six different valleys and the Combe de l'A nature reserve in 5-7 days. On the Italian stretch, possible stopping points include the Frassati, Bonatti and Elena refuges.
