The refuge is located at 2916 meters below the Testa del Rutor and is a mountain refuge built and managed through the voluntary service of the Operation Mato Grosso movement. Reachable only on foot through various routes of different difficulty, it’s the ideal destination for a mountain excursion and for a gastronomic experience at high altitude.
In spring it can be reached with snowshoes or mountaineering skis.
