The ‘La Kiuva’ cooperative was founded in 1975. The first contribution of grapes to the winery was 506,000 kg which took place in 1979. Currently, the cooperative includes 60 members who contribute a total of 1,000,000 kg of grapes. Production is around 70,000 bottles/year. Many old vineyards which were semi-abandoned are now in the process of being rebuilt for a total of about 15 hectares.

The shop is open from Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Fridays until 4:00 p.m.).
The winery can be visited all year round upon reservation to be made by e-mail or telephone (contact: Thérèse Joly) at least one week in advance.
The tour includes a visit to the wine cellar, the vineyards and the old wine cellars of the cooperative members, made available to the cooperative in the middle of the village of Arnad where the wine is stored for aging.
You can taste the wines and the other local products upon reservation.

How to get there
In the centre of the village, turn right at the roundabout (if coming from Turin) or left (if coming from Aosta). Follow the signs to ‘La Kiuva vendita vino’ or ‘Ristorante La Kiuva’.
