Food & Wine - visit the producers: La Thuile

L’Arolla farm was founded out of a passion for the local area and its traditions. The goat farm lies in the hamlet of Les Granges, an area of outstanding natural beauty, characterised by stunning views.
The farm operates with respect for the environment, animal welfare and the seasons, prioritising sustainable and natural production methods. As a family-run business, the farm focuses on the quality of its products and on directly involving visitors in daily activities, such as milking or bottle-feeding the kids, to offer authentic and exciting experiences.

The products

Fresh and matured goat’s cheeses, ricotta, yoghurt.

There is a shop open daily from 4pm to 7pm, where tastings are available. 

The visit

Visitors tour the barn, the milking parlour and the area dedicated to the kids. Participants can enthusiastically take part in the farm’s activities.
Farm visits take place from June to September, by booking in advance by telephone or email at least one day beforehand.
Tastings take place at the end of the tour.

From La Thuile, follow the signs for the hamlet of Les Granges, which is located approximately 3 km from the town centre, along the SR39 regional road.
