Since the early 1900s the various generations of the Cortese family, who are the owners of the Distillery, have jealously guarded the quality of their limited production and refused to distribute it outside Val d’Aosta.
The Cortese sisters currently produce:
ARTEMISIA GENEPY – an infusion of newly-picked “ flower heads” of Artemisia genepy, known as “genepy nero” from our moraines. In numbered, personalised bottles.
GENEPY DRY – GENEPY DEMI SEC – infusion of dried Artemisia using the classic method. The “Dry” is decidedly dry, while the “Demi-sec” is smoother.
GRAPPA RISERVA – A traditional grappa, made from a masterly mix of marcs, refined for at least three years in oak “barriques”. Numbered, personalised bottles.
GRAPPA 50° – The basic distillate from the copper bain-marie stills.

LIQUORE AL PINO E GINEPRO – a pine and juniper-flavoured liqueur
Guided tours round the winery can be arranged for groups with advance booking by phone. You can see the various production phases in the distillery including bottling, and enjoy a tasting session.
